My deepest sympathies to Ricky & all of the family. David went to school with my siblings Lou & Jim Hale. I remember when he was editor of the Hominy paper. He made it great! He was a sweet, sweet soul. Always kind & always smiling. May God comfort you all.
WANT TO EXTEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO DAVID'S FAMILY. HE WAS AN UPPERCLASSMAN AT HHS WHERE WE BOTH ATTENDED. HE WAS A "GREAT GUY' AND ADMIRED BY ALL. SAT BY HIM AT THE LAST HHS REUNION AND ENJOYED VISITING WITH HIM. SADLY, I DID NOT KNOW THAT WOULD BE MY LAST CONVERSATION WITH HIM. AS WELL AS JANET JONES HIS MOM, RUTH, WAS ALSO MY HHS TEACHER. HE WILL BE MISSED!
My sympathies to all of David's family. We were school friends; his mom was one of my teachers. We both went to J-school (OU/OSU). We had recently reconnected on Facebook. I am very sad to learn of his untimely passing. My thougts are with you.
I was so sad to read about David. We were in the SW Tulsa Chamber together. He joined us about 2007 & was so happy to help us on any thing we had going. We e-mail some when I won't see him & would find out he had been in the hospital. By than he would say I am doing great & next thing I would know he would be back. David was a great guy, ready to help where help was needed. I love this Chinese Proverb. "A life is never ended until all the lives it has touched have ended too". David will be missed by many.
Was saddened to hear this morning of the passing of David. We were both graduates of the class of 1967 and attended the same church in Hominy. He was a friend whom I will greatly miss!
