Leon was a great guy. I loved working with him at KOTV. Every time I see a Canna Flower I think of Leon because he gave me some of his Canna bulbs to plant and told me how to grow them. I did exactly what he said and they grew and bloomed for years in my yard. I know he's busy now in heaven's garden. My prayers will continue to be with the family.

Leon was always so kind. I remember his gentleness and delightful sense of humor - which saved many a day for those of us privileged to work with him at KOTV. I treasure my memories of Leon and the time I had with such a lovely man.

Leon and Joan have been my wonderful neighbors for many years. Leon was always such a considerate, helpful person. He was a true gentleman and I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to Joan, Terry, DeeAnn, Janice, and all the family.

The people behind the cameras are never given enough credit for making those of us in front of the cameras look good. Leon always did his best not only to make us look good but to create an atmosphere of friendly professionalism no matter how long the day or how late the hour. I always felt confident that if something was out of place Leon would quietly fix it. There are not many things at this point that I miss about television, but people like Leon lead the list. My condolences and deepest sympathy to his family.

My sincere sympathy to the Meier family in the loss of such a gentle, fine man. I have wonderful memories of Leon when I worked with him at KOTV. He was always the perfect gentleman -- so professional and supportive of everyone. He had a wonderful sense of humor also. I will always remember him with respect and affection.
