Obituary of Winifred McGill

While residing in her home away from home, Bradford Village, Edmond Ok, Winifred Bee McGill peacefully passed away on Friday March 11th, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior in eternal life. She was a long time resident of Tulsa OK for 90 years. Born on June 17th, 1917 to Dr. and Mrs. J.A. Jackman, she was the youngest of five children. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Clinton McGill of 44 years; Atwell and Sally Jackman (her brother and sister-in-law); Glenn Jackman (step-brother); and Erma Colvin (step-sister); and a young sister who died before she was born. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis (husband Chuck) of Lakewood, CO; three grand children - Teri (husband Larry) Chadwell of Edmond, OK; Bradley (wife Tammie) Williams of Lakewood, CO; Tracy (husband Brendan) Curran of Lakewood, CO; and six great grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest and was involved in everything from service to the church to club memberships; jazz/ragtime concerts to classical orchestra concerts; international travel to auto trips in the states. She was a loving friend to many and was known for her hugs, smiles and butterflies. Memorial Service to be held 2:00 p.m. at Harvard Avenue Christian Church, 5502 S. Harvard.
