Doug, Roger & Rebecca - Words cannot adequately express the heartfelt loss we feel for you. Ruth was an extraordinary woman. We shared so much. She taught me to cook more than 20 years ago after my illness prevented me from working. For 15 years your Mom, Dad, Jerry Sharp and I all met one day a week for coffee & spending time solving the world's problems. Although she grieved the loss of your Dad she found new energy in her grandchildren. She was so very proud of all her grandchildren and couldn't wait to tell you of their latest accomplishments. Miss Ruth was a talented lady that eagerly shared her knowledge with anyone that asked - she taught the girls at CPHS how to serve High Tea, she sewed baby blankets for new Mothers, she gave lots & lots of her famous themed dinner parties for both family & friends over the years. She hosted lots of amazing Christmas parties for her Greenhouse Girls. She will be remembered for her generosity and her love of helping others. She has shared so much with so many of us over the years. We are privileged to have two pieces of Miss Ruth's Garden Art, both have a special place in our own garden & everytime we are outside they remind us of Miss Ruth & her love of God's flowers and the enjoyment she got from gardening. Until we meet again I'll say "So long for now dear friend"......... Darrell & Shelia
