Obituary of Merle Moore

Merle Wayne Moore was born September 23, 1933 in Duke, Oklahoma to Jesse and Vera (Shelton) Moore and passed from this life November 24, 2008 at the age of 75.
Completing high school Merle continued his educational pursuit at the Oklahoma State University, a school he held much pride in throughout his life. He labored as an electrical motor salesman for Evans Electric Company and I.D.M., both here in Tulsa. In addition he was much involved in his church, the First Baptist Church of Rolling Hills in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
Merle is survived by his wife, Joyce (Rickner) Moore of the home; his three daughters, Julianne Moore Rivera and her husband Juan, Vicki Bennett and her husband Steve Brachtenbach, Sherri Whitlock and her husband Rob; his 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Rolling Hills in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
