Mesnard, Dwight "D.W.", age 77, longtime resident of Jenks, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. D.W. was born on April 21, 1931 in Jewell, Kansas to Warren Jackson and Alice Irene (Railsback) Mesnard. During D.W.'s life he was a truck driver, worked for an airline company and was mainly known as a pipefitter and was a member of the Pipefitter's Union. He was also a member of the Akdar Shrine and a mason. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Mesnard. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; 2 daughters, Linda Coats, of Glenpool, OK and Kathryn Kelly, of Tulsa; 2 sons, Kenneth Mesnard and Michael Mesnard, both of Jenks; a sister, Ruth Ostberg, of Assaria, KS; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Service 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 29, 2008, First Christian Church of Jenks with burial to follow in Bixby Cemetery. Ninde Brookside Chapel 918-742-5556.
