I used to work with Gary at Bovaird quite a few years ago. He knew no limitations. I hadn't seen him in quite a few years and am sorry to see such a kind person go. We need more Gary's.

How can one describe the loss of Gary? I simply can not....I trust and believe in the same God Almighty that Gary did however, and I have no doubt where he is today. Gary changed my life for the better and I will never, ever forget the fun times I shared with him and "His" Dorothy... What a love story you two shared Dorothy.. I loved Gary with all of my heart and I love you too and am praying for God's comfort to surround you..I know HE is the only one who truly can do that. I have no words only prayers..for once in my life this has left me speechless and Gary would laugh at that I know... All my love, Kristy

Dot, I'm sorry to be adding this so late, but I wanted to at least put something in writing. Gary was a very bright light. He had more personality and talent than would be expected of gifted quadruplets. He was one of those people who entered my life in such a way that I will never be the same. His legacy is large in all of the people whose hearts he touched and whose funny bones he tickled. He seriously was one of the funniest and biggest hearted people I have had the privilege to know. I will never forget our legendary scooter rides (incl. black magic and the bumble bee), the crab crawl he wouldn't stop talking about, and our tortuga adventure/debacle among many others. Know that you are in my prayers throughout this time. It was a true honor to be able to attend and participate in the memorial. Such a wonderful man. I will miss him very much.

Dot, We will all miss Gary and his many stories of your travels. We feel blessed to have been party to some of them. I am just glad I got to fish with him enough times so he could use some of my miscues to make fun of. I know he will he get to catch that big fish with the kitchen sink lure.

Dot, I spoke with Gary's mom shortly after I heard of his death. I expressed my sympathies to her and the family. Gary was one of the first friends I made at LC. I will remember him as a great friend and an exceptional talent. To you, I extend my sympathy and prayers.

During an exercise class we both attend, I have become friends with Dot. On one occasion I got to meet Gary as he came to pick her up after class. Upon meeting him, I immediately liked him. I knew and sensed that he was a great guy, and also by conversations with Dot and the way she spoke of him. Unfortunately, I never had the time to get to know him better and it is my loss. My prayers are with the family as you meet the coming days with the loss of a wonderful life too soon gone from our presence. In love, Priscilla Hogan

Dot & family, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. It was a big shock. He was a smart, funny, talented friend and I will miss him. I really enjoyed working with him at Bovaird Supply and singing in the Founders Chorus with him. Those drives to Stroud for the Music Central rehearsals were a lot of fun too. My condolences to you, your family, and Gary's family as well. Take care.
