I was very saddened to hear of Bill's death. He was a good friend all through highschool. He did a great job at our class reunions, and one of my fondest memories from the last reunion is when Bill and I sang "Popyeye, the Sailor Man" in Latin (yes, we remembered all the words). I will miss him and my sympathy goes out to his family.
I only got to know Bill the last few years thru working with him at IGT. He was such a nice man and we gigged each other about our favorite football teams: him TU and Me OU. I was so sorry I never got to eat as his favorite Mexican place...we were to get together this coming week. His attitude was just the greatest even even after his dignosis this year. Often I'd call or email to check on him, and he'd end up checking up on me! I am sorry for his family's (and friends) loss.
My Deepest Sympathies to the Family. I lived two houses from Bill in Mankato Minnesota. He was one of my dearest friends. May GOD bless and keep you my old friend.
I'll miss Bill's teasing. At every reunion he reminded me of the silly skit Barb Mueller (Vilandre) and I did for a talent show at Lincoln Jr. High. Yes, he did have a special place in his heart for his MHS Class of '61 classmates. He did a great job trying to keep all of us together via e.mail and mailings. He was a driving force for our continued class reunions. I know his enthusiasm and spirit will be with us at our 50th in 2011. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends during this sad time. Bill was a real go getter and he managed to organize and find many of our missing classmates. He truly enjoyed visiting with all those that he was able to find. We will miss him at our next class reunion - the big 50th. He was a great guy.
I am so sorry about your loss. Bill was the driving forces that kept our class together (Mankato high class of 61)and I don't know if he can be replaced. He was a friend a class mate and I will miss him. My sincere sympathy Jay Brown
