Obituary of Kenneth Miller

Miller, Kenneth B., left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. This was a day that the world lost a truly great man irreplaceable by another. He had no equal. He gave so much to this world that no one ever knew. He was a very kind, loving and brilliant man The world is so much better off of having had this wonderful person. Ken was born January 19, 1921 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Francis and Harry B. Miller. Ken lived in Tulsa all of his precious life, graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Tulsa. During World War II, Ken served as test pilot/flight engineer at Douglas Aircraft. He later became owner of Miller Printing Co.. Ken won the 3M National Award for a commercial lithographic job. Quoting from the newspaper article about this award, "This is the first time the first place award has been won by a Tulsa entry". Ken was at the helm of that company until 1990, at which time he sold it, thinking he would then take it easy and play, but play was not in his vocabulary. He soon started Digicolor, a new company, with his son-in-law. Ken was associated with various organizations, including The Tulsa Men's Club and the Petroleum Club of Tulsa. Ken married the love of his life, Patricia, on December 31, 1969. They had a love that is rarely duplicated. Over 35 precious, wonderful years, given by God. In addition to his wife, Patricia, Ken is survived by a daughter, Debra Lawwill, son-in-law, Steve Lawwill, two granddaughters, Stephanie and Patricia Lawwill, brother Louis Miller, and loving nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Cora Lowery and Evelyn Wilkerson. Ken's life could be summed up by saying, "HE GAVE MARE THAN HE RECEIVED."
