Barnard, Marvin D., 72, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Born September 21, 1935 in Oklahoma City the son of Leonard and Retha Iona (Stanley) Barnard. He was an avid TU basketball fan. He loved fishing while spending time at his home on Grand Lake. He had a great sense of humor enjoyed by both children and adults. He was especially loved by children for his playing Santa Claus at Christmas. Survivors: Wife, Ann; Sisters-in-law: Nell Tindell, Bobbie Miller, Betty Hutchinson all of Bonifay, FL and Marlyne Wilson and her husband Gary of Pace, FL; Brothers-in-law: Harold Fielding and his wife Zorena of Ft. Walton, FL and Rex Fielding of Shreveport, LA; his beloved dog, "Chip". Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial service 11:00 Friday, Ninde Brookside Chapel. Memorials: the American Cancer Society.
