Obituary of Nadine Hidde

Nadine Hidde was born on October 5, 1912 in Gravelly, Arkansas to her parents Edgar and Lilly (Wilson) King. She passed from this life April 1, 2008 at the age of 95. She and her family moved to Tulsa in 1958. After many years of service to the Tulsa Public Schools, she became the Director of the Children's Day Nursery. She taught a women's Sunday School class for many years and served as Music Director at the Madison Avenue Church for over a decade. Nadine is preceded in death by her husband, The Reverend Robert Luther Hidde; her sister, Ethel Kitchens and Lula King; and her brothers, Odell King, Cleo King and The Reverend Robert King. She is survived by her son; Dr. Robert D. Hidde and his wife Vicki of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, The Reverend Leah Hidde-Gregory and her husband Stan of Italy, Texas; her great grandchildren; Madeleine, Carolyn, William, Katie, Maria, Jose and Fred; her brother, Leo King and his wife Clara of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her sisters, Louise Jones of Danville, Arkansas and Leah Hunt and her husband Rex of Grass Valley, California as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 4, at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
