Mary Ellen Anderson Badger was born December 21, 1919 in Joplin, Missouri the daughter of G. Fred and Sarah Marie (Chubb) Anderson. She completed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 92.
Mary Ellen graduated from Central High School in 1937 and attended Tulsa University. She married Bruce P. Badger on December 27, 1941 in Oklahoma City and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2009. They were long time members of First United Methodist Church as well as the Builders Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Knife and Fork Dinner Club.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley E. Badger.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Ellen Jones and her husband Don of Tulsa; her Grandchildren, Stacy Jones Reding and her husband John of Aledo, Texas and Jeffrey Jones of Tulsa; her great Grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Abigail and Ava Reding all of Aledo, Texas.
