Ferguson, Arthur "Kenneth", 68, of Yale, formerly of Tulsa, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Kenny was born on March 13, 1939 in Penrod, Kentucky. He was one of twelve children born to Buell and Nola (Chapman) Ferguson. He retired from Ryder Truck Rental as a diesel mechanic. Kenny received a Heart Transplant on April 30, 1995, because of the generosity of a donor's family. We are extremely blessed for the additional 12 ½ years that we were able to share with him. His greatest joys in life were knowing the Lord, his children, grandchildren, and family. He also enjoyed playing cards, music, bowling, baseballincluding his favorite teamthe New York Yankees, playing and coaching softball, and the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen, of nearly 38 years of marriage; 3 daughters, Penny, Stephanie, Angela; 2 sons, Kenneth, Robert; 2 sisters, Dorothy Stinnett and Marie Stinnett both of Owensboro, Kentucky; 2 brothers, Larry Ferguson and wife Sue of Owensboro, Kentucky. Johnie Ferguson and wife Sandra Jo of Tulsa; 3 sister-in-laws, Ruth Ann White and husband Tim of Claremore, Wanda Ferguson and Diane Ferguson both of Owesnboro, Kentucky; 1 brother-in-law, Eddie Norfleet and wife Nola of Wichita, Kansas; 9 grandchildren; Brandon, Matthew, Amanda, Rebecca, Dorry, Kyle, Jennifer, Nathan, and Derek; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, long time friends, and children they fostered throughout the years. Special thanks to Katie Bryson and James Karriman as special care givers. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, and Zuhdi Transplant Center in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2008 in Tulsa at Ninde Brookside Chapel.
