Obituary of Mary Wilson

Wilson, Mary Kathryn, a member of the Osage Nation, died Friday, September 21, 2007, at the age of 72, following a long illness. Mary Kathryn was born on August 22, 1935 in Hominy to C. H. and Ruby (Webb) Wilson. She had a lifelong career and retired after 20 years from Doctors Hospital as a Nurse Assistant/Monitor Tech in ICU. Her interests and talents were diverse. Mary Kathryn was a graduate of Tulsa Welding School, a talented artist and quilter. She was an avid reader and traveled extensively. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and C.H. Wilson and former husband, Eugene Crawford. She is survived by her son, Randolph Crawford, of Norman, OK; brothers, Richard, John Paul and C.H. Wilson, Jr.; her elder sister, Christine James and her family, Cecelia, Rhonda, Elizabeth and Thomas. Mary Kathryn was attended by and cared for throughout her illness by her dearest friends Charmaine Gilbert and Becky Laxson. She was blessed by the unwaivering support of her physician, Haresh Ajmera, Rev. Christy Moss, the caregivers at Good Shepherd Hospice and Clarehouse.
