Obituary of Mary Potts

Mary Louise Potts, age 68 lifelong resident of Tulsa died Thursday in St. John Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Ninde Brookside Chapel with Pastor Barbara Bohannon of the Revival Freewill Baptist Church officiating and assisted by Jim Burns. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Hensley, Joe Mansell, Eli Dawson, Jed Dawson, Harvey Bohannon and Shannon Barnett.
Mrs. Potts was born on October 28, 1938 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Wallace and Bernice (Simmons) Courtney. She and Leon Potts were united in marriage on March 14, 1958 in Tulsa and have resided here since.
Survivors include her husband Leon of the home, daughters Rhonda and her husband Robert Hensley of Tulsa and Robin and her husband Joe Mansell of Tulsa, a brother Jimmie Courtney of Beggs, Oklahoma, Grandchildren, Cynthia Hensley, Eli Dawson, Jed Dawson and Nicole Dawson, great grandchildren, Stephanie Dawson, Cheyanne Dawson and Jed Dawson, III. She was preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Bernice Courtney.
