Obituary of John Templer

John Carl Templer, Jr., 79, died on Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Templer was born September 10, 1927 in Comanche, Oklahoma the son of John Carl and Irma Vern (Hilyard) Templer. After graduation from High School, Mr. Templer graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration. He affiliated with Sun Oil Company where he was an accountant for many years. He moved to Texas with Sun where he lived for a number of years before moving back to Tulsa due to ill health. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary Opal Dickson, and his brother, George H. Templer. He is survived by his brother, Billy G. Templer of Claremore, OK as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ed Bateman officiating.
