WOODSON, BILLY JOE, of Tulsa, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 30, after a brief illness. Born to Chester and Charlotte (Slawson) Woodson on October 4, 1927, on a farm outside Chelsea, Oklahoma. He graduated from Claremore High School and subsequently entered the U.S. Army. After his military service during World War II, he went to work at the Atomic Energy Commission in Los Alamos, New Mexico, working as a firefighter and security specialist. He met and married his wife, Ines Beatriz Trujillo, before moving to Tulsa, where he was employed with McDonnell Douglas as a firefighter. He is survived by his bride of 58 years, two sons, Larry Woodson and Shane Woodson, both of Tulsa, and a brother, Wayne Woodson, of New Mexico. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Holly Coleman, and grandson, Lance Woodson, and three great grandchildren. Graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ninde Woodland
