Obituary of Clyde Sheesley

Clyde B. Sheesley, at the age of 65, passed from this life to the next Friday, March 23, 2007. Clyde was born on June 28, 1941 in Neosho, Missouri to Alfred and Mildred (Beam) Sheesley. He is survived by his close friend Chad Hutcherson of Tulsa as well as all of those who knew and loved him in the community at large.
Upon completion of his educational pursuit Clyde enlisted in the military reserves and was called to active duty during the Vietnam War. After serving his country proudly and receiving an honorable discharge in January of 1968 he became a flooring salesman for a restaurant supply company for a number of years. He went on to receive a certificate of achievement in Men's Hair Styling in 1973. In addition he was a chauffeur for several well known entertainers including Miss Universe, KISS, Elvis Presley and Bob Hope.
"Shez" also known as "Frosty" to the thousands of students at Whitney Middle School was a long time security guard who the teachers and the students admired. His interest in the community was vast. He was an Honorary Life Member of the Tulsa Spotlight Theater; he was a Majority Member of the Delta Chapter and was in the order of De Molay.
He was loved by many and will be truly missed, especially by his long time friend Wayne Dunn and his Whitney family. Services to be held Thursday, March 29, at 4:30 PM with visitation from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday; both at Ninde Woodland Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial
