Obituary of George Nicely

George M. Nicely was born in Cromwell, OK on October 31, 1934 to Thomas and Mary (Rogers) Nicely. He passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 79 after fighting a courageous battle with Parkinson's while never complaining.
He attended Pryor High School where he met the love of his life, Patty Fausset. They married in 1954 and moved to Tulsa where he worked for the John Zink Company for 39 years. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed fishing and traveling in their RV.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patty Nicely; two children, Chris Nicely and Nancy Nicely Stevens; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Blanton, Samuel Stevens, Melinda Nicely and Sarah Stevens; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton and Allyson; a brother, Joe Nicely and a sister Nell McDowell.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service this April.
