Roman was the best brother a guy could ask for. From the moment he was born I knew I loved him and would have his back no matter what. We bonded over so many things. In our early years we loved playing together with hot wheels, g.i. joes, legos and action figures. We would set up all sorts of crazy things around the house that were huge battles or race tracks. He loved playing video games too, we played a lot of Black-ops Zombies, Halo, Half-Life, GTA and many more. We drew together a lot as well. There were two worlds we drew Roman’s World and Matt’s World and we would have our worlds collide sometimes battle or team up. We made it to where there was a story unfolding between the worlds almost like a comic book crossover. Roman had the wildest and most magical imagination. His drawings were very advanced for his age and only got better as he got older. This creativity carries over to his film career where he excelled at every aspect of filmmaking. He was a one man machine, he would be the writer, costume designer, director, actor, editor, and publisher. A jack of all trades. We co-directed numerous short films together and he’s the best partner you could ask for. His talents were sure to land him a big gig. He wouldn’t of done anything like those big blockbuster sellouts, he would’ve done it his way, a smaller production that had character and was practical. Something that would’ve been a callback to the directors he aspired to be like. I could only hope to be one of them. We had very similar visions and bonded over many films and music. He really enjoyed Jaws, Alien, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Truman Show, Inglorious Basterds, Lancelot Du Loc, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Interstellar, Tombstone and many more great movies. The music he loved was a lot of Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin and classical Medieval music. He was into history as well, notably WW2, the civil war and medieval times. A fond memory I have is when we use to watch movies sometimes we would mute the volume and dub over the actors with our own dialogue, he would always crack up when we did scooby-doo. He also had some hilarious dance moves he would break out at random times. He loved making his friends and family laugh and he was damn good at it. He loved us all so much and wanted to make us proud. I can not be more proud of the way he fought, he was resilient and fearless up until the very end. I say that his strength is only summed up as this: A lone knight facing a full blown army , he has his sword drawn at the ready and knowing his fate he fights on anyway for the honor and love of his family. He is the Knight in shining armor. A true warrior. A master of his craft. His bravery will never go unnoticed. We shared many great memories together, I only wish there were more to come. I plan on carrying on his legacy for the rest of my life. Roman is and always will be the goofy little guy I grew up with and I will always thank him for making my life easier by just being there. I’m glad you had a peaceful transition and I know you are watching over us, your presence lightens the room. I know you’re up there blasting the wall by Pink Floyd and chillin w Enzo, Sammy, Uncle Klaesi, Grandma Marianne, Grandpa Olen, Robert Bresson, Stanley Kubrick, King Arthur and all those hermit crabs we use to have. I’m thinking about you everyday. You are a badass, Space Cowboy Knight who is eternal. I love you forever, Robot

My greatest memory with Roman would have to be the first night I hung out and stayed with Roman. He wasn’t to familiar with me we’d known each other in school but never really talked or hung out, and Korbin and Devin had brought me around for a hangout or kickback. But anyways we get there we’re hanging out we do the rounds just chillin talking laughing and hanging around it gets late and Roman tells me hey man my mom doesn’t know that you’re here so you’re gonna have to sleep in your car, it was the funniest thing ever first time really meeting him and hanging out and then boom I’m kicked out. But next time around we’re hanging out and it gets late and Roman’s mom Lisa shows up and I’m like scared like I’m not supposed to be there and he ask me what’s up, and I said am I gonna have to go like last time and he said “oh yeah no you could’ve stayed in the house my bad man” and it was just the funniest moment ever because from then on out I stayed and had a spot on the couch every time. And I just thought to myself wow this guy is just for the fellas he did whatever he could to keep us around and hangout for a night, no matter what he had to do to get his friends to stay the night he’d do it. He was always there for us and always will be we love you man and will always miss you.

As Roman's older sister, I would like to share extra words about my baby brother. Roman and I are extremely close. Everyone says how their sibling is a built-in best friend, though Roman is truly my best friend of anyone in the entire world. He is my first confidant of anyone in the family, my creative mentor, as I his, my protector, and errand & coffee buddy. I think most people knew our relationship. We loved to get out of the house together, just him and I. We would talk a lot about space, mainly the sightings he would have regularly, show each other music all the time, and discuss navigating his love life. He trusted me with so much, and he was my first trustee. It is my life's highest honor, the role we played in each other's lives. I believe a lot of his strength was transferred to me on October 13th, 2024. Roman is the true DIY King. He would spend all his hard earned money from the restaurant on film equipment, green screens, costumes, props, rights to stock images, etc. One of my favorite details, Roman would cast employees of the restaurant, family members, and the most iconic, the amazing narrator to all his films, a Mondo's regular. He treated everyone like family. We really share a strive of perfection, but Roman had total dedication to making his craft as authentic as possible to the point where I became convinced he was destined for nothing but greatness. Throughout his diagnosis, he stayed dedicated until he simply could not. This is just a fraction of what makes Roman more special than any human being I have ever laid eyes on. I think what Roman saw in the pure legends he looked up to became his life story. Roman was never fearful of his diagnosis, he never complained, only once refused to be stuck in an ER room. His diagnosis kept him and my mother very busy, and neither of them ever wavered. It is the most remarkable act of strength I have ever seen. A fierce, loving mother birthed a real warrior. The comfort he brought our close family is such a gift. He wants to be remembered with honor and nobility. Roman Klaesi Aloisio, you are such a legend in God's name, of all the cosmos, you are crowned my brother.

Q: What 3 words best describe Roman and why?
A: Roman, my sweet cousin,
3 words that best describe him would be a "courageous" "warrior " and " loving" son to his family.
I'm so sorry I didn't get to see this young man grow up to be such an outstanding courageous soul.

All of my memories of Roman include his amazing smile! I loved seeing him play lacrosse and his love and commitment to everything he did! He was always family oriented and one could tell was in awe of his beautiful mom, Mimi, Shelby and Matt when we had opportunities to spend time with him and them! His affinity for and collection of “Ugly Dolls” to later and long time deep interests in film, the arts and his loved ones was timeless. He never went through a phase where all that was important to him was lost or set aside as happens to some as teens. He was so mature and positive from childhood to adulthood! I will see his beautiful smile and face every day because his loss has left an invaluable reminder to me that life is a GIFT and our loved ones are to be treasured and prioritized, and Roman exemplified this! I look forward to celebrating our Knight in Shining Armor on the 21st and every day until we’re reunited with him in heaven!

My first and strongest memory of Roman is back at 2006 when the little 4 year old kid played with my 10 year older son under our visit in Tulsa. Now both of them is gone and we smile of lovely memories and gratitude that we had them in our lives

Roman, I want you to know Kalei, Dominic, and I love you very much. We miss you already. You were so valiant in your fight against this monstrous illness. You fought with a warrior’s heart. You fought with immeasurable courage, despite the odds. We are all so proud of you. Your fight is done now. The fight for all of us whom love you, is just beginning, but we will fight together. It’s been a profound honor to be in the lives of you, Matt, Aaron, and Shelby. Your Uncle Fredo loves you all very, very much.
