It is a delight and blessing to have been one of Sheryl’s friends. Our conversations were often lively as we compared experiences from childhood onwards, takeaways from things we’d read or seen, insights from Bible studies, spiritual journeys, and drawing closer to the Lord. Sheryl was a careful listener who knew how to add gentle but insightful questions and comments. Her care and concern for others was clear, genuine and generous. I've had the joy of knowing Sheryl for only 6 years, but what a blessing she has been to me. Our histories had some of the same pathways, and perhaps that is why we connected so well; but I think even more than that, it was simply because of who Sheryl was...and is. Her relationship with the Lord was so evident throughout her life. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. It is one of God's special gifts to me that He allowed me to call Sheryl "my friend." Ann Dorff

I am Crystal Small's mother-in-law, Rebecca Small. Crystal is Sheryl's daughter. I have had many occasions over the past 30 years to enteract with Sheryl. I can honestly say I have never met a more genuinely sweet person than Sheryl. What she presented to the world was who she was everywhere she went and with everyone she met. She gave of herself without expecting anything in return. I feel truly fortunate to have known her.

Sheryl was an amazing friend and sister in the Lord!! She always knew what the correct information was and how to spell it and pronounce it. She was the best at encouragement and loving kindness! She will be missed here on earth and is waiting for us to join her with our Lord. She will be missed and remembered with love!! Enjoy eternity my dear sister!!! Cynthia Buckingham
