Ethel Mae Davis (Dillon), passed away on July 6, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 85. Born on May 16, 1939, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Edward Hanks Dillon and Lena Mae (Johnson) Dillon. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents and her six siblings.
Ethel is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Rev. Arthur (Doug) Davis, her son Jon Davis and his wife Pam of Springdale, AR, her daughters Christine Davis of the home, and Sally Creason of Vinita, OK, and her son (nephew) Tim Davis of Midwest City, OK. She was a cherished grandmother to Kaitlyn and JC Davis of Springdale, AR, and Glenda and Gracie Creason of Vinita, OK.
Known for her sweet, caring, and humorous nature, Ethel was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. She had a passion for roses and could often be found tending to her garden, a place she found great joy and solace. Ethel was also a phenomenal piano player, a talent that brought much joy not only to her but also to those who had the pleasure of listening to her play.
Above all, Ethel cherished the time spent with her family, especially with her beloved husband, Doug. Their enduring love was evident to all and served as a beautiful example of commitment and affection.
A service to celebrate Ethel's life will be held on July 27th at the Freedom Life Church of God, located at 4605 S. Tacoma Ave., Tulsa, OK, beginning at 10:30 AM. Ethel's life and legacy will be remembered as one of profound love, dedication, and warmth.
