Meeems, so many of my favorite childhood memories happened in your backyard. Some of my strongest bonds formed with people happened in your backyard. I remember you teaching me to sketch and I thought you were the best artist in the entire world. I tell my kids that story all the time. I would sit at the kitchen table with you until you couldn’t draw anymore… I wish I had one of those sketches now. Disney movies, buttered popcorn, sleepovers with all the cousins. How didn’t you do it??! LMAO. It’s not like we were the quietest bunch of kids. ha ha! I remember we would get up and make things in the microwave and try to pull the microwave door open before you could hear it beep. We were supposed to be sleeping ha ha. Me, Kate and Alex would be putting on your wigs and pretending to be elderly people. (Gregory, were you doing that with us or was that a dream?) haha I’m going to miss you more than you know, you’ve done so much for me and been there when you didn’t have to be. I love you so much… The family will be missing the most very important piece now that you’re gone, but at least you’re with all of our loved ones that we miss so much. Love you meems, forever and always..
-Abbey Gregory… the eldest granddaughter haha
