Dear Rumley Family; Wayne was dear to my heart and like a father to us after my father, Quinton Darnell, Sr. passed away suddenly. He spent three weeks in Houston, Texas assisting us in office relations, etc. After mom passed away in 2017, Wayne was one of the first ones here in Houston. He was such a good person and a loyal friend to all who knew him. I will miss you Wayne. We will miss you. My grandmother always told me that "God takes the best first." God has a plan for Wayne that is bigger than this world. Wayne, thank you for your commitment to kindness, loyalty, and being a very good friend who seemed like a father to me after dad passed. I love you, we love you, and we will see you soon. Tell daddy I said, "hi." Don't play too much golf up there. OU boys in Heaven....I can see your smile from here. God Bless you and Rest In Peace.

What a sweetheart this man was! I was one of his travel agents for many years. On the holidays he would always stop by the office with gifts of chocolates from See's. He loved his trips to Santa fe, NM. He was always so kind and generous. What a wonderful life he had! My condolences to Andrea and his family. He truly loved his wife, Andrea and children. Talked about them in every conversation. Miss you Wayne :)

I'll never forget the See's candies. The amazing times I had at R&R including riding my go-carts around the parking lot and dancing in one of the many rooms/offices. The many sleep overs I had with you and Barbara... I absolutely loved all of the artwork and sculptures you had around. Always something new you'd show me and explain the meaning of. You were genuinely an amazing man. Please take care of Grandpa Warren and Grammy Annie for me up there. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do for others, your generosity is second to none.
