Janet has been a friend and classmate since 1953, we shared our first class in the third grade. We had a great friendship throughout our school years. We both enjoyed music, me in Band and her in Chior. We lost touch for a few years after graduation while we both pursued our futures. We reconnected on a closer and more personal basis a few years back while my husband was very sick and she too was dealing with her own health issues. The last couple of years we became prayer partners and we shared listening to one common teacher of God's word - Dr David Jeremiah. We shared many conversations after listening to his daily teachings. We prayed together for friends we knew were sick or had upcoming surgery and we prayed for our families. Janet could no longer go out and do the things we all once did so when our class got together for luncheons or anything else, if pictures were taken I always emailed them to her so she could still feel like she was a part of what we did. Janet wanted to still be a part of her CPHS Class of 64, she loved her classmates and friends, she was truly a Sandite then and now - so many of us are going to miss you, especially me, I will miss our weekly calls. Save me a seat near you in heaven, remember how much I loved you and thank you for all the sharing. May God bless and look after Sarah and her family until we are all together again.
