Obituary of Bruce McNeill

Bruce Allan McNeill was born November 3, 1946 in Amarillo, TX to Willis Frank & Rudine (Manning) McNeill and passed from this life in Tulsa, OK on July 3, 2013 at the age of 66. Bruce was a proud and decorated veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country honorably in the Vietnam War, for which he received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained during his service. He was a music aficionado, with diverse musical tastes, but was particularly fond of The World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band, the Rolling Stones. Bruce was also an avid reader and a gifted writer, and was fascinated by United States military history, particularly the World War II era. Bruce was preceded in death by his father and survived by his mother; his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy & Steve Lindsey; his sister and brother-in-law, Francis & Tim Church; his brother and sister-in-law, Glenn & Lisa McNeil; his three grandchildren, Eden, Alexander & Natalya; and his two cats, Brownie & Alfie. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, July 8, at Ninde Brookside Chapel.
