With love and deepest sympathy for you, Steve and for your family at this difficult time . I am so grateful for being able to be with Glenna , though the times were few , and get to know her a little. Carl has told me so many wonderful stories about her and I feel like I have known her a long time. I remember her smile, her kind words and how her face would light up when she saw Carl. She would say... " Why there's my little brother...."

We are thinking of you,Steve, Kristina, and the whole family. There are so many special memories I have of Aunt Glenna and Uncle Ralph. She always had carrot cake when we came to visit. Her house was always spotless and her life revolved around her family. She was so loving. The world is a better place because she came into it.

We are very sorry for this loss. I can close my eyes, and travel back twenty years and more, and hear her laugh, see her smile, feel her warmth in the way she talks and shares. It was impossible not to interact with Aunt Glenna without feeling, and being positively affected by, her optimism and her love. Her personal warmth and positive outlook shows up in her son, her brother, and no doubt her grandchild and great grandchildren share these strengths too. She was a wonderful person, who lived her life with love and courage, and she made all of our lives better and richer because of her presence in it.

Steve, we were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. We know she will be deeply missed by you and Kristina and her family. We remember coming to visit you in Cape shortly after graduation and how she and your dad made us feel so very welcome in your/their home. May God provide comfort to all of you during this time of loss.

My deepest sympathies to you, Steve, Kristina, and all the family on this loss. One of the things I remember most about Aunt Glenna was her great cooking! I still make the candied sweet potatoes every year at Thanksgiving (at least, and sometimes more often). It is one of the family's favorite dishes, and of course is not written down anywhere. I also remember getting to spend time with the whole family all by myself when I was a teenager; something I greatly cherished at the time and still remember fondly. Love to you all.
