Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

David Raymond Soulsby was born October 16, 1953 in Stuttgart Baden-Württemberg, Germany to Raymond Smithson & Mabel Elizabeth (Dayton) Soulsby and passed from this life on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 68.

David graduated from Edison High School in 1971 and continued his educational pursuit at the University of Oklahoma.  He achieved the status of Eagle Scout and became a Master Woodworker and Stained Glass Craftsman in which he excelled in both.  David loved all things family, especially the holidays; preparing one of his many signature dishes and guiding his son and grandsons through the Scouts program.  He loved O.U. football, camping, hiking, concerts, live music and any and all roller coasters.   He collected vintage guitars, concert ticket stubs and posters and music memorabilia.  He was a huge history buff.  A man of many talents and loves, David was loving, caring, hilarious, supportive, encouraging, sentimental, laid back, adventurous, smart and outgoing.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, David is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah & Jim Russell; his daughter, Sydney Soulsby; his son, Smith Soulsby; his sister, Susan Soulsby; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Ben, Charlie & Jaxon.
