It is with great sadness that the family of Geraldine “Geri” Bee (Brickey) announce her passing on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 75. Born on March 2, 1947 in Stuttgart, AR to Denver and Ida (Moffitt) Brickey.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ in Muskogee, OK. Was baptized on October 17, 1983. She graduated from NSU with a BS degree in early childhood education on May 1989.
Geri loved to plant beautiful flowers and trees, talk on the phone for hours. Benji, BJ and LittleRoy, her dogs, where a piece of her heart no one could touch. She always looked out for the “underdog” and was always giving of herself in love, time, money or material possessions no matter what the cost or sacrifice. She would always find a way to make you feel special, loved or thought of fondly. Geri would cook for hours preparing meals for her family to keep them close. Her favorite times were Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrating with her loved ones, where her heart has always been. She was always telling others how our precious Lord and Savior died for us on Calvary, that we may accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, follow his plan of salvation and save us all from our sins.
Geri will be lovingly remembered by all her family. Children: Kimberly Presley and Kendall Bee; siblings: Velmar Wilson, Morris Brickey, Mildred White, Trinnis Brickey, Earline Cordray, Jerry Brickey, Brenda Andary and Susan Brace; granddaughter, Danielle Smith and 2 great grandchildren, Caitlyn Barker and BreeAnn Smith and numerous other family members and friends. Geri was preceded in death by her parents, Denver J. Brickey and Ida M. Moffitt; siblings: Delmare Brickey and Darlene Brickey and a great granddaughter, Brandi Barker. Service 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10th at the Ninde Brookside Chapel with interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
