This is Jane and Mike Juergens. The first thing we said upon sadly learning of Wes’s passing is the world would be a better place if everyone was Like Wes❣️ Like a lot of midtown I first met Wes at the station where Mr. Claiborne would be sitting inside with his fedora and a sweet smile and Mark would be running the garage . As the obituary said we became more than customers. I Loved that family. Wes and I always had a conversation everytime I came in for gas but they did so much more for me more over the years . One time he spent a couple of days taking door panels off looking for a dead mouse and he FOUND IT!! Always as honest as the day was long . To me he was John Wayne Oklahoma style. Words cannot begin to express my sorrow on hearing that Wes had passed. I hold such great memories of Wes: coming to Dodge to hunt with Dad and Jeff, of staying with Pat and Wes on my own back in the day, of the Boles Reunion held at their house, of his laugh, of the love and care Wes gave to his family…sending love and condolences to the entire family. Wes was one of kind and will be greatly missed!
