I have such fond memories of Judge Morris from my time at Gable. He always had such wonderful stories to tell, with a sparkling (and often unexpected!) sense of humor. I especially treasure the time I spent as his "law clerk" for an arbitration in Spokane. I had my infant son with me, and a series of family members rotating for the three weeks we were there to help with the baby. One afternoon, Dona looked after baby Isaac to give me mother a break. As Isaac grew and we had another child, Keira, they loved to visit Judge at the office and update him on how they were doing in school. He was always concerned about the well being and futures of the young lawyers who crossed his path, and would take time to hear about our career interests and future plans. Above all, he would talk about his love for the law, which was inspiring. Judge led such a rich life, and had a positive influence on many people. Our prayers are with his family as they mourn his passing, until they meet again.
