Please share a memory of Shirley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Shirley Jo "Taz" Allred was born July 8, 1962 in Chandler, OK to Jess O. & Sue Ann (Duggins) Weeden and passed from this life May 8, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 50. Taz was involved in Celebrate Recovery at First Baptist Church, Sapulpa, OK which is a biblical and balanced program that helps overcome hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. She loved listening to LifeChurch.tv and her favorite worship groups. She had a big heart for the homeless. Taz was a loyal, devoted friend. Once you were her friend you could count on her throughout life. She detested anyone or anything being cold or hungry. She would take in strays, dogs and cats alike. The love of her life was her dog, Hannah. Taz loved her family and took great joy in each of their lives. Taz was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Shelly Tackett and Bobbi Kuykendall. She is survived by her sons, Andrew Allred and wife Jolene and Caleb Allred & his girlfriend Jennifer; her sisters, Debbie Hermann & her husband Ted, Mary Day & husband Warren, Bethanna White & husband Gary, and Patty Amann & husband Carl; her brother, Stephen Weeden; and her nieces and nephews who dearly loved their Aunt Taz, a role that she highly cherished. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Contributions may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church, Celebrate Recovery Ministries, P.O.
