Goodness... I have so many memories of Dean and his antics. He was such a fun friend, and there will be so much I will miss. I'll miss that guy that changed all of the "decor" in his office in 10 seconds flat just to pull a fast one on me and my mom. And the guy who "planted" a plastic roach in my office just to make my skin crawl. But above all of the pranks and the hilarity was a deep friendship that I will always cherish. He was always willing to help with anything, I knew he cared and he would lend an ear when I needed one. He kept me on my toes, kept me humble by reminding me of my progressing age (Even in my 20's)... but he also fixed me coffee every morning at work and kept my mug sparkling clean... and reminded me to wear my glasses when I didn't want to, and he always shared his berries with me at lunch. He left gifts for all the holidays and always came through with pumpkin pie, dark chocolate, and grape tootsie pops. I always felt remembered having Dean around. He loved God and aimed to serve Him by serving others. He loved Jill and his family so much! We can all learn from Dean. He wasn't as innocent as he'd like you to believe... but he was blameless in God's eyes. To stand blameless before God is to deny ourselves and lift him up... that was my friend, Dean.
