Obituary of Nancy Lee Oxford
Nancy Lee Oxford, born May 21, 1942 in Tempe, Arizona to Jake Oxford & Vera Bishop, passed from this life on March 2, 2018. She was 75 beautiful years young and a woman of many trades. She dedicated over 20 years of work to the State Insurance Fund as a skilled underwriter. Known as the "Thrift Store Queen", Nancy had a zest for shopping and an eye for antiques. When she wasn't shopping, you could find her outside spending countless hours in her flourishing garden. Her family and close friends meant the world to her, along with her beloved and spoiled little pups, Sweet Pea & Cookie, who rarely left her side.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy Hamblin, Brandy Thornton, Danny Hamblin; her grandchildren, Jimmy Hamblin, Danielle Dutcher, Amber Hamblin, Taylor Hamblin, Brooke Hamblin; great-grandchildren, Axel Dutcher, Gracie Hamblin, Liam Brooks; her brother, Ted Oxford & sister, Roberta (Bobbi) Wagle; her uncle, Otis McCaslin; her aunt, Beth Parker.
The family will be having a celebration of Nancy's life at her home on Saturday, March 10, where the doors will be open from 10am-2pm.
