My favorite memory of my Uncle Kenneth is from my Aunt Mary's wedding to Bobby Lybrand in1959. I was the candle boy that was too short to light the candles at the start of the ceremony. Kenneth came to my rescue, lifting me so I could light the candles. Funny how embarrassing moments of childhood become fond memories! All those pheasants Kenneth brought back from hunting trips that he shared with my family is another great memory.

"Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear."

Just way too many memories to list. He was the best friend of my husband, Ralph Joslin. We double dated and paled around many times even before his beloved LuAnn came into his life. His love of Ralph's mom's chocolate chip cookies. Saturday night stock car races along with Tommy Mars. Frank's pig stand.... burgers & curly fries. Burgers & swimming in Los Angeles. So so many. Bless all you Terry kids and Mary, my friend in high school. RIP Kenneth. And Pat with her crush on Ralph. Always a joke among us. But a fun one.

Ken was a wonderful human being and he and LuAnn were there for me and my daughter when we needed them. They were great parents and I always felt secure when my daughter was in their care, which was pretty often during their years living in our neighborhood. Ken and his wife were very special people and will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Kenneth was only 14 months older than me. Memories of love and friendship are treasures with me always.
You will be soooo missed.

Kenneth always had a smile on his face. It was also obvious how much he was loved by his kids, so I say to them, "May God's grace shine upon you, and give you peace."
