Obituary of Bernice Pauline Foster

Bernice P. Foster was born on November 11, 1936 in Keefton, OK to Abraham D. Huskey and Bonnie Bess (McDaniel) Huskey.  Bernice passed from this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the age of 80.
She was a longtime Jenks resident. Bernice married Franklin Delano Foster on March 19, 1955.  She was a former City Clerk for the City of Jenks, retiring as Finance Officer. Bernice was a 35 year member of the Jenks Lion’s Club.  She also volunteered her time for 25 years as a voting precinct worker in Jenks.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Foster and brothers, Thomas D. Huskey, Burl Huskey, Harold Huskey and Burt Huskey. 
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank of the home; a son, Franklin D. Foster, Jr. and a daughter, Linda Frakes; brother, John Robert Huskey; nephew, Burl Huskey, Jr. and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and service 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Ninde Brookside Chapel with interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
