Essie Mae Carter was born November 23, 1927 in Castle, OK to Jeanie & Elizabeth (Robinson) Carter and passed from this life August 19, 2016 at the age of 88.
Essie Mae will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the World Won For Christ Family Life Ministries, 2121 N. Harvard and she will be laid to rest at Green Acres Memorial Gardens 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
