Obituary of Vivian Irene Ashcroft

Vivian Irene Tuttle Ashcroft passed away July 18. Born March 23, 1931 in Jetmore Kansas as the eldest of Harry Russell Tuttle and Alice Glunt Tuttle. Vivian married Lloyd W. Ashcroft of Weaubleau, Missouri on December 2, 1950 in Garden City Ks. After a few moves around Oklahoma and Kansas the car broke down in Tulsa in 1956. Vivian earned her nursing degree in 1975 with two daughters in college and three teenagers at home. She worked as an RN at Hillcrest Hospital and later volunteered as an RN at the Day Center for the Homeless in Tulsa as well as working with Registered Nurse Community Volunteers.
Vivian is survived by two daughters Viva Ashcroft, of Scottsdale, AZ and Alice Abbott of Tulsa. Two sons Arthur Ashcroft with his wife Nancy Ashcroft of Sand Springs and Glen Ashcroft with his wife Sherry Ashcroft of Owasso. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Rose, Summer, Sasha, Jesse, Marie, Ryan, Sarah and Aaron and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Ashcroft & husband Lloyd Ashcroft.
In lieu of Flowers Donations may be made in her memory to Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless 415 W Archer, Tulsa OK 74103.
Memorial service will be held Saturday July 23 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Baptist Church 2800 S Yale, Tulsa OK.
