Sharon Kay (Archibald) Daniels was born June 7, 1947 in McAlester, OK to David Gorgas & Norma Owana (Sparks) Archibald and passed from this life October 22, 2015 surrounded by her family in Tulsa, OK at the age of 68.
Sharon graduated from Central High School and was a member of the synchronized swimming team. She attended Tulsa University and was a runner up band queen. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren; she enjoyed spending time with them attending school, music and sporting events as well as traveling with her family creating many special memories. She married William, the love of her life in 1966 at Trinity Episcopal Church and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage. She was a lifelong Episcopalian and a sustainer of the Junior League of Tulsa. She was a devoted volunteer in her daughter’s school pursuit. She fully and completely supported all of her family and their endeavors. Her family will remember her for her beauty and glamour; her sense of humor, craft making and cooking.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Ann Park. She is survived by her husband, William Daniels; her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Leigh & Robert Duenner; her grandchildren, Cameron Albert Greer and Caroline Ava Greer; and her nieces, Margaret Ann Esche and Marybeth Rutherford.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 2227 E. Skelly Dr, Tulsa, OK 74105.
