Obituary of Mary Spoonemore

Mary M. Spoonemore, age 95, of Tulsa passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012 with her family at her side. Mary was born on March 25, 1917 in Dexter, Kansas to Owen and Mary (Mondero) Curtis Herr. During WW II she worked at Douglas Aircraft. She was a Sunday School teacher at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, election worker and was in retail sales. She had been the Leader of Springdale Weight Loss Club and was serving as Treasurer at the time of her demise. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Eston (Spooney) Spoonemore, a son, Charles (Sonny) Holland and brothers, John and Joseph Herr. She will be deeply missed by her children Larry K. Spoonemore and Myrna ann Chumney. Grandchildren, Ricky Richmond, Traci Speer, Randy Holland and C.J. Holland, great grandchildren, Emily, Jennifer, Monyca, Amber, Morgan, Alex, Taylor and Ashlee, sisters, Winifred Blewitt, Catherine McDaniels, brother James Herr a niece, Carol Davis and many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at the Oakwood Cemetery Pavillion.
