Obituary of Bobbie Jean Downing

Bobbie Jean (Mure) Downing was born September 17, 1931 in Inola, OK to Herbert & Lutisha (Rogers) Downing and passed from this life on September 10, 2014 at the age of 82. She is survived by her daughters, Cecilia Barnett, Sheila Davis and Iris Alamah; her sons, Eric, John, Damon and Hugh Downing, all of Tulsa; her sisters, Florestine Carter, of California, Patricia Wilson, of Omaha, NE and Beatrice Robinson, of Midwest City, OK; her brother, Julius Mure, of Tulsa; 33 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Bobbie Jean will lie in state 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. A funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, at the Hearne Temple Church of God In Christ, 1541 N.
