Obituary of Cynthia Wood
Please share a memory of Cynthia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cynthia Lynn Wood (Cindi) was born March 11, 1957 in Marysville, Ohio to Earl and Kristine Wood. She passed away from this life in Tulsa, OK July 13, 2011 at the age of 54.
Cindi worked for 30 years as a nurse. Early in her professional career, she was drawn to Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery. Most recently her interest turned to aesthetic medicine, and she was proficient in many aspects of treatment, particularly laser, dermal filler, and Botox. She was an avid equestrian, participating in barrel racing when she was younger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends, gardening, and cooking. She also loved beading leather, and collecting Native American art and artifacts. She had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, reading for hours on end about history and foreign cultures, and loved to travel in order to experience those cultures.
Preceded in death by her Mother; her son, Andrew Bowman; her brother, Matthew Vaught; Cindi is survived by her father, Earl Wood; her husband, Lawrence Vark; her son Cody Bowman; her daughter Kristen Roth; her sister Rhonda Simmons; her grandchildren Sarah and Sadie Davis, and her closest and dearest friends, Robin and Emmett Breslin.
Although Cindi left us much too soon, she would say that she lived a highly fulfilling life. That is the character of the woman she was.
