Maxine Gwendolyn (Jackson) Krebbs was born July 17, 1916 in Rogers County, Oklahoma to Charles T. and Linda Arizona (Adkins) Krebbs and passed from this life February 22, 2011 at the age of 94. Maxine graduated from Ramona High School while joining her mother and siblings to operate the Ramona telephone system on a 24-7 schedule. Residing in Tulsa after her marriage she also worked for the Health Department of the Tulsa Public School System for several years. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Wilbur Krebbs, Jr.; her daughter, Linda Pearl (Krebbs) Collier; her sisters, Esther Ellene (Jackson) Hoffman and Edith Isabelle (Jackson) Swift; and her brothers, Eston Theodore Jackson, John Hille Jackson, Mose Edward Jackson and Lyle Armond Jackson; Maxine is survived by her grandson, Todd Collier; her devoted friend and caregiver, Barbara Collier; and several nieces and nephews. Maxine will lie in state 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. with her funeral being held 11:00 a.m. Monday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, Oklahoma. Ninde Brookside 918.742.5556 www.ninde.com
