Obituary of Mardana Jones

Please share a memory of Mardana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mardana (Moss) Cerchie Jones was born February 12, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Dana & Marjorie (Dievendorff) Moss and passed from this life on August 3, 2012 at the age of 64. Mardana Cerchie Jones was how we knew her light, a name remembered by all who knew her. She was an avid student in the school of life, a loving teacher and healer to many. She was the beloved mother of two very lucky boys who couldn't have dreamed of a better mother. Her light shines on through them and the countless others who knew her joyous life. February 12th, 1948 was the beginning of a very special journey. She danced beautifully through her years, and with simple words, taught us to dance along as well. The world was blessed to have her, and is a much better place for it. She loved us all, and encouraged us all to love one another each and every single day. August 3rd, 2012 she transitioned from this physical world and into the eternal warmth of our hearts. She is survived by her two sons, Jason Lane Cerchie, age thirty-eight, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Noah Alexander Jones, age twenty-five born near Mulberry, Arkansas; her younger sister, Marilyn Gates; her dear friend and companion, Damon Jones and two very spoiled cats, Toots and Precious. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 6:009:00 p.m. at the Tulsa Rose Garden South Room. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Insight Mediation Society -- http://www.dharma.org/generosity Ninde Brookside Chapel 918-742-5556.
