Nelson, Violet June, 90, died Monday, November 20, 2006. Violet was born June 2, 1916 to her parents Lorenzo and Elizabeth (Rogers) Reed in Texarkana, Texas. In addition to making a home for her family Violet worked for Clark's Fine Clothes in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over ten years. She married Leslie Nelson and enjoyed 66 years of marriage prior to his decease. Violet is survived by her son, Roger Nelson of Tulsa; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ninde Woodland Chapel.
