David Andrew Queen, 61, died on Sunday, November 5, 2006 after a brief illness. David was born April 23, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Jess Andrew and Dolores Pauline (James) Queen, Jr.. He was raised in Tulsa where he attended Tulsa Schools. David served our country in the U.S. Navy from which he was honorably discharged. He married Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Dean on July 7, 2003. He worked at the Cracker Barrell restaurant and was a member of the Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Cindy; his mother: Mrs. Jess A. (Dolores) Queen of Tulsa; his daughter: Michelle Kelly and her husband Christopher; his grandchildren: Hunter and Lauren Kelly; his brother: Michael Queen and his wife Marilyn of Tulsa. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ninde Woodland Funeral Home 5757 S. Memorial.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006 in the Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church with interment following in the Floral Haven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials may be made to the Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church, 714 N. Harvard Ave., Tulsa, OK 74115.
