MILAM -- Mildred Hull, born July 26, 1912, to Dorothy and Alfred P. Hall. Millie as she was known to her family, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2006. She was a loving wife to 2 men, who proceeded her in death, Paul G. (Bud) Hull and Marcus L. Milam. She was also a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, companion and friend to many, both young and old. Millie was born in downtown Tulsa, OK, in a small house, located on what would later be Tulsa Central High School's front doorsteps and later graduated from Central High School, Class of 1930. She began attending First Christian Church in the early 1930s, and was a long standing member of the Friendship Class. She first attended Oklahoma State University and then the University of Tulsa, where she later became secretary to the Dean in the school of Arts and Science, then moving on to be the secretary of the Biology Department. During this time she acquired many new friends, while assisting the professors, and helping many students in attaining their education. In 1939, Millie married, P.G "Bud" Hull, who was President of Allied Bearing Supply Company, until his death in 1963. During this time she raised her family in Tulsa's White City neighborhood. Millie was seen most often "on the go" with a car full of her children's friends. She was a true friend and advisor to many of the young people she was involved with, including being the cheerleader "Mom" to the pep squad for the Bell Bobcats. She was a member of the White City Garden Club, Oaks Country Club, Southwood Club and the Petroleum Club of Tulsa. In 1963, Millie married her old high school boyfriend, Marcus L. Milam. Marcus and Millie where in charge of assisting in the growth of their grandchildren, until Marks death in 1991. Marcus also brought into the family Jackie and Larry Milam, his nephew and niece. Jackie was a constant companion of Millie's, assisting in her care and many daily needs. Millie was very active throughout her years, serving as President of her sorority, Delta Rho Delta, member of Rotary Anne, many bridge and sewing clubs, and did volunteer work at local hospitals and nursing homes. She was active in her church until health problems in 2004, at age 92. After moving out of her house and getting rid of her car, she moved into Woodland Terrace in Tulsa, which meant many new friends and many new activities. Here she also attended church with Pastor Paul Prince and his wife, Micky, which was one of the highlights of her week. Millie is survived by her 2 children, David G. Hull and wife, Gail of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul G. Hull MD and his wife, Rebecca of Richardson, TX; 6 grandchildren, John (Michelle), Gregg (Carrie), Todd, Jason (Kristen), Tyler, and Paul Michael; great granddaughters, Lauren and Abby; and 1 great-great-grandson, Bryce. She is also survived by her long time friend and companion, Dr. Hague Lindsey, and the many members of the Lindsey family. The entire Hull family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Saint John Hospital, Interim Care and the Sojourn Hospice organization. Millie loved each and everyone of the members of the staff at Woodland Terrace. Service will he held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 31, at First Christian Church's Memorial Chapel.
