Obituary of Vernon Ragsdale

Vernon Troy Ragsdale was born November 27, 1935 in Dallas, Texas the son of Jess and Hazel (Mitchell) Ragsdale. He completed this life on Monday, July 23, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 76.
Vernon retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief Petty Officer. He married Shirley Kay Holton on March 15, 1968 and she preceded him in death on February 22, 2008.
He is survived by his daughter, Catharine Ann Logue of Tulsa; his step-son, Robert Holton of Ft. Gibson, OK; his granddaughter, Julia of Tulsa. In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Ragsdale.
A private family inurnment will be made in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
