Obituary of Dorine Leach

K. Dorine Leach was born Katherine Dorine Rochier, March 16, 1935 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Henry Joseph and Willie Amo (Evans) Rochier. She went to be with the Lord, August 10, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. She grew up in Arkansas, where she met and married Herbert Lee Bloyed. They moved to Tulsa and Dorine worked for Humpty Drug as a cosmetic supervisor. They had two children, Jimmy Bloyed and Kathy Bloyed Spohn. Herbert preceded Dorine in death. Eighteen years ago Dorine married John Leach and they lived the first twelve years of their retirement in Buena Vista, CO. The past six years they lived on Monkey Island at Grand Lake. Dorine and John were active in the Lake Center Baptist Church where they enjoyed singing duets in the church choir. Dorine's favorite activity was cooking for her husband, children and grandchildren. Dorine is survived by her husband, John Leach. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Suzanne Bloyed; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jim Spohn; grandchildren, Jason Spohn, and his wife, Danna, of Denver, CO, Stacy Spohn, Graham Bloyed and Eric Bloyed; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Adela Rochier of Dallas, Texas, George and Maxine Rochier and Charles Rochier, all of Springdale, AR. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Bernice Mantooth. Also surviving are her step children, Joel W. Leach, Sr., and wife, Sheila, John B. Leach, Jr., Lawana E. Leach, James D. Leach, and wife, Julia. Additional surviving step grandchildren are, Joel W. Leach, Jr., Jadriann D. Leach, J'llysa M. Leach, Molly McCowan-Leach, Maggie McCowan-Leach, and Clara Leach. A special viewing and family visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Ninde Woodland Funeral Home, 5757 South Memorial Drive. The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 14, 2006 at Garnett Road Baptist Church, 620 S. Garnett Road, Tulsa, OK. Private family committal at Memorial Park Cemetery.
