Obituary of Toussaint Tate

Mr. Toussaint L. Tate age 78, died Wednesday in the Claremore Veterans Center. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Johnston officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 308 of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Tate was born on August 16, 1927 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Ed and Tenna (Williams) Tate. He enlisted in the US Army on December 12, 1945 and was honorably discharged on May 22, 1947. After his discharge he became a machinist and was employed with the Naval Ammunition Plant in Illionis for a number of years until his retirement. He is survived by a daughter and four sons a sister Jacqueline Anderson and a brother James A. Tate both of Tulsa. Ninde Woodland
